SOME WORDS TO LIVE BY WHILE REPRESENTING THE SYFC:
Sportsmanship is having pride in the SYFC, Your Team, Your Coach, Your Teammates, Your Cheerleaders, and Yourself. Sportsmanship is having respect for the Game Referees and those who coach, play, and cheer for the game of Youth Football. The SYFC wants to remind EVERYONE that you MUST display good sportsmanship.
PLAY STRONG. PLAY HARD. PLAY FAIR. CHEER LOUD.
The SYFC and all its member organizations promote and require good sportsmanship from the players, cheerleaders, coaches, and spectators. Your full cooperation by supporting all of the participants, organization officials, and game referees in a positive, dignified, and uplifting manner is required. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, any other intimidating, or harassing actions directed towards a game referees, players, cheerleaders, coaches, organization officials, or fellow spectators will not be tolerated. Any type of misconduct is grounds for IMMEDIATE removal from the site of competition, organizational membership termination, and possible suspension, if not permanent banning from all SYFC functions.
